Cleared gutters and drains ready for the heavy rain. Any remaining Autumn leaves will surely be blown away this weekend.

Chilly tonight so tomorrow morning will be unpleasant as cold and rain combo, then wind, but ‘warmer’ by the afternoon.

We are having storm "Barney" here, I think you can name it yourself.
Storm PITA probably describes it best.

All quiet here at the moment. A calm and gentle, but chilly night at 1c. There is still some snow on the ground.

Then the next two days it's heavy rain and 48mph winds. Funny that the pressure is rising at the moment.

But temps will rise to 15c so a bit of a heatwave.

I was raking up leaves today with snow attached. Never done that before.

                  Good morning all.
It's not much warmer here but no frost which is good.
We are expecting stronger winds up to 47mph and rain all weekend.
It says 6c, but it's just 3c outside. Up to 14c, but I take that with a pinch of salt.

I can hear the wind picking up, and I’m hoping the rain will hold off until I’ve driven in to work.

Stay safe in the “multi hazard event” (?!) of Storm Bert.

Had a drop of rain earlier, dry ATM but very cloudy with a strong wind blowing.
                        5c.

Here it is currently about 8°C warmer than when I went to bed, strong winds and heavy rain for the rest of the weekend.

I'd far rather have frost than rain @simone_in_wiltshire - it always feel colder to me when it's wet, as it's usually windy as well.
A sleety/snowy/windy start here. O'night low was minus 1, which was last night rather than this morning. 0 degrees just now at approx. 7.50 am. Predicted high is around 1 or 2 degrees during the day, and wind chill will come into that. The temps are to rise at night though, which is always weird.

Yesterday was ok generally - just breezy and frosty, but bright with occasional sunny spells, and a couple of very, very brief wintry showers. The high was 4 degrees, but dropping later on to zero at around 7pm, with more frost, and some cloud coming in .

Daylight arriving shortly my bird-feeder is wobbling about outside my front window , it’s windy. Just leaving trying to beat the worse of it driving up to Newark-on-Trent for a few days. First got to drop off a few goodies for the Xmas raffle for our Xmas Fayre we do at ‘The Grange’ local hospital coming up soon.
