Whats Your Weather Like December 2024

We are expecting sleet showers tomorrow morning first thing, with "feels like" temp of -3c, then 52mph winds. No weather warning though.

We had a sleet shower but now it's all stopped.
With a moderate breeze from the west temp 3c feels like -2c

 

5c was clear-ish sky then clouded over with some rain

 

An icy start here. O'night rain/sleet and very strong winds, and a low of 1 degree. I just now at approx. 8.45am. The wind warning is in place until tonight, so I'll be hanging on to my hat again when I'm out. It's to be drier in the afternoon, so I might wait until then for my walk - waterproof trousers were a good shout yesterday. The high is to be about 5 degrees, but, like yesterday, the wind will knock that back.

Yesterday was pretty manky, with some heavy rain and the high winds. Drier in the afternoon for a few hours, and a high of 8 degrees, dropping through the day and around 3 degrees by late afternoon.

 

Good morning all,feels like -3c at the moment a high of 7c expected,moderate winds not as dull as it as been .

 

A lovely clear blue sky, sunny and calm, 7c going to mid/hjigh teens. I am between two weather stations, six kms distant each way, one in flatish land toward the sea, the other foot of mountains. I use our thermometer.

Waiting for the 54mph winds to start. Each time I look at the forecast the greater the wind speed.

Sleety rain coming down at the moment and all the Trees are whooshing around out the front and up the back quite wintery now. 3 days until Xmas only got the tree up last night! hope the motorways are clear for driving up the North-East Xmas day.

The sky is half blue, half very black clouds, with heavy showers and gusty winds. Still very mild. No chance of even a frost let alone a white Christmas!

 

We had what sounded like a lot of rain in the night, lashing against the windows, but there was only about 3mm in the gauge. Now it's cold (3C) and windy but with sunny intervals. There was a brief sleety shower while I was pegging out the washing but it blew over in a few minutes.
