Whats Your Weather Like December 2024

We had some unexpected heavy rain. Thoroughly miserable and cold. Still quite windy.

It may get down to 2c tonight.

Next week it warms up, but it's going to be misty for five days.

We had nothing yesterday. It started with rain during the night, but then sunshine from 9 up to sunset. Because it was not cloudy, it was much longer light in the afternoon, I noticed at 4:10 PM.
Maximum of 7c today, could be sunny in the morning hours.

Clear last night - lovely to see a few stars. It should be clear but chilly this morning, then a bit of drizzle later which seems to be bringing warmer air. Mild and misty this week.

 

Still dark out there but there's no wind to speak of and it looks quite dry atm. About 7c later and drizzle expected.

 

Stars are shining this morning, seems to be reddish looking one, could it be Mars??
Still windy, it was surprisingly windy in the night after being less over the rest of the weekend which was when it was forecast.

5c clear sky, had a half howl as moony was up, see orange sun rise so hopefully a nice day

 

Clear sky and sunny but very breezy, 9c going to mid/high teens.

 

A dry, cloudy start here. O'night low of 1 degree [4 degrees just now at approx. 8.25am] with a predicted high of around 9 or 10 degrees later this evening, and about 6 or 7 during daylight. Another weird spell of higher temps at night than during the day. It's to be rainy on and off all day.

Yesterday was a bit drier than the previous day, but windier, with high 40 to 50 ish mph gusts. Fine if you were in a more sheltered area - not so good in an exposed one! The high was 6 degrees, but the wind knocked that back a fair bit. Showers most of the day, but a bit drier in the afternoon, and clear at night when temps dropped.

 

Dry but colder, 3.3C at 8am . Broken cloud a quarter moon still visible, towards the south West.

 

Good morning all,red sky in the morning and real feel -1c high of 4 to 5c and rain later this afternoon.

 

Calm and cool this morning after a very chilly night. Max 5c, but OK for walking up to the local shops.

Has anybody else noticed the very bright planet, which comes up in the early evening in the south-west? I think it may be Venus.

 

Crisp and dry just how we like it. Joined locals at ‘Carols under the Arch’ last night , said a weather warning for yesterday but people braved it and turned out, community spirit I call it.

Well the sunshine that was forecast for today seems to be a no-show! It's cool (2C) and cloudy, and the wind has dropped to hardly anything.
