Some photos from my walk along the beach this afternoon. It’s the first time I’ve seen snow/ice like this in the estuary.

This one is from my wife's phone - Kerridge Ridge between Rainow & Bollington. The hill is in Cheshire but from the top on a clear day you can see Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Yorkshire, Shropshire, North Wales & Greater Manchester. It's one of our favourite walks but we're doing separate walks at the moment cos' my knee's buggered and I can't do the steep stuff. (It's the hill top-left on my 3rd photo above.)

 

No snow but the frost is very heavy this morning.

 

Lovely photos @pete. It was like that here in south Norfolk too, yesterday, but my photos aren't as lovely as yours though we passed some beautiful scenery in the car.

 

Such different patterns @shiney, lovely.

 

Today was the first time this year that I have done one of my favourite walks down to my local beach. Over winter the boulder clay cliffs have eroded quite dramatically. I was slightly concerned that the council have recently completed a new coastal path above the cliffs. A novel way to control the local population . I walked along the beach instead!
