Whats Your Weather Like 2025

10c here too and cloudy.
I wish they wouldn’t permanently change the forecast. Just saw we will have 3c over night instead of 1c.

 

At this time of year, as you know, its all about cloud cover, so very difficult to forecast those 2 degrees.
Low single figures sums it up.

Ooh, yuk! Not a fun road in bad weather. I last came over it the Saturday before last, some hours ahead of the snow.

 

Sunny morning, part cloudy afternoon. 9am 2c, midday 10c.

 

FOG

 

Just looking at day lengths and it’s only a couple of weeks before we achieve 9 hours of daylight, then at the end of the month the sunset will just tip into 5pm. It’s about an extra 3-4 mins of daylight per day through Feb then to take us up to 12 hours of daylight mid March! Bring it on!

 

I’m just back from the garden and took off the crown cover from the tree fern.

 

Its the 8th of Feb before we reach a sunset of 5pm on this side of the country.

 

But you get an earlier dawn than us. You can't have everything

It was dull, but mild today. OK I suppose.

The lawn has finally defrosted so that it is now soft to walk on. While it was frosty Mr Mole was quiet. But today he was back with a vengeance and has piled up a two foot wide hill. He is almost up to the house now. So I went out and squirted some malt vinegar into his hill. Hopefully he will move on.

Mild tonight at 8c. I think that's my ideal night-time temp.

We're still up at 19f -6,5c and the sun is starting to set. We are at 9 hours and 18 minutes of daylight. By the end of the month it will be 10 hours

 

Let's bring January behind us and then things will be better.
Sunrise starts on 7:45 on 1 February, and will be at 6:54 on the last day of February.
Our first 5 PM sunset is on 3 February. On the 28 of February, the sunset will be at 5:45 PM.
I need an Altitude of 25% to get sunshine in the morning at the end of the garden. This will be on 11 February.
The greenhouse will be in sunshine in the morning on 23 February.
