Good morning all,a frosty start sunny at the moment but turning to cloud and rain later a high of 5c .

 

Gusty winds and heavy rain today and 9c. Sunday is day of rest so they say not here still some brushing up of leaves up the garden on what I call our 'Rickety' steps up onto the next level where our Laburnum Tree is. I'll be in and out in a Jiffy as they say with Mac on.

Isn't it the great Birdwatch this weekend? Nearly forgot. Just looked it up and so far nearly 1.6m birds counted. I think the weather may keep the birds quiet, so I better do my hour first thing before it's too windy for them to land.

Apart from a tornado which blew through in front of the last storm removing shed roofs etc. we have had a few sunny days, quite pleasant!
However, today is a different story. It is blowing a hooley and bucketing down with rain. Nothing like further North thank goodness. Very dark, supposed to be getting colder when it clears up later today.
