It's lovely. I agree with your wife about the bright colours, though in September it looks so beautifully green. I've enjoyed seeing it in different seasons.

By the way, your English is very good!

        8 FEBRUARY

        Good morning everyone!:)

The bulbs are progressing. It's the first time I've planted bulbs:fingers crossed:. It was a quick purchase, the colours are going to be a bit random. I've moved the most avanced pot into the sun. A couple of daffodils already have the flower stem:yes:. The long-leafed ones, I don't know if they're the dutch irises or crocuses, but there's no sign of a bud:scratch:... The pots with the tulips are still in the shade. Some are already starting to sprout, others haven't even poked their heads out yet.

        20250208_103106.jpg

Today we have a splendid blue sky:SUNsmile:. The regals are already forming their buds, the Virginia creepers are still dormant:snooze:. Next week I'll prune the honeysuckles, jasmines and bignonia for the first time in these 4 years✂️. I'm going to remove a jasmine, it's sick, and my idea is to plant several geranium rozanne, let's see how they do. Do you know when is the best time to buy them? Thank you very much! Hugs!

Very jealous of your blue sky! Beautiful.

You could buy Rozanne now. It won’t like getting too hot, so a spot with afternoon shade would be good. A potted one will probably need a fair bit of watering to keep it happy.

I will put them in the planters with the honeysuckles, they'll have plenty of water. Then I'll go look for them online right now! Thank you so much @ViewAhead!!

I’ve seen some in stock this week on a couple of UK nursery sites, but I’m guessing you need an EU source.

Hmm, I’m guessing it is too warm for armies of slugs to thrive where you are, so that rules out my first thought.

Not sure cats eat tulips, though a rat might have a go, if their diet is anything like their cousins, the squirrel.
