As FC said in another thread if Bt/openreach/pusnet are having problem because of the football/ruby which i don't watch  why do i have to suffer :mute: it just goes to show that tech is rubbish ;)

Still slow on the ipad but OK on desktop, wondering if recent ipad security update is part of the problem.

Posting for me has been painfully slow.

Same here. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it's not accessible at all i.e. page never changing, sometimes it's OK to start with and then decides to 'go slow'. I've just tried 3 times to post this. 'Post Reply' activates and then returns without any obvious posting.

@Webmaster - heads up, just in case this is an issue at our end.

            Hello all

There is a possibility that it may be the DNS Servers that are Setup on your Router.

I had a situation where I was unable to Access the Website of a Company where I wanted to place an Order.

I Contacted the Company and they confirmed that there was no issue with their Website.

I changed the DNS Servers in my Router Setup and after I did that, not only could I get on the Companies Website without any issues, Internet Browsing was much faster.

I am on EE and initially the Router was set to get the DNS Servers Automatically.

I changed this to Manual and entered the IP Addresses for the BT DNS Servers.

            I Hope this Helps.

            Kevin

OpenDNS used to be the go-to for DNS servers - however, there are a limited number of us here that would have the knowledge/ability to change this on our routers and worse still, I have feeling that some ISP's (Sky being one) now have this locked down.

One thing that everyone can try is to simply power their hub/router/modem down, leave it off for a few mins and power it back up.

Everything is pointing to Openreach here.

                    Hello @Fat Controller

                    That is very True, unfortunately.

                    One Last Point from me.

Regarding ISP's locking down their Routers, this may be True, however, they can not prevent you from changing the DNS Servers on the Clients, be that Windows, Android, Apple etc.

                    Kevin

Several times recently we've had Openreach in the lane fiddling about with stuff.
