Probably not as in April they would still be in full growth and next year's flower bud will not have formed. In the dark in the fridge this growth would then die.
Taylors Bulbs keep their daffodil bulbs, for Chelsea, over winter in a ventilated cold room; they then plant them in pots in early spring and carefully manage water, temperature and lighting to get them to flower in mid May. Different varieties may need slightly different treatments to keep them in step.
If you wanted to try it: then get the bulbs in autumn, keep in the spare fridge in the garage until mid summer then plant up and water, they will need to be brought on in cool conditions so maybe the garage with lights on a timer.

I need to read before I post, I think, Apple had other ideas, sorry.

Should’ve of read if I put my daffodils in the fridge in April and planted them out in May could it be possible to have daffodils in September.

I still don’t understand how Apple changed ‘if I’ into immigration though.

Given that an Apple app has been reported as changing racist to Trump: I can't say I'm surprised.

      Okay.

I see what i did I typed 'image if' and Ipad turned it into immigration.

Again I am horrified that a word came up that I didn't intend to type and there cannot be a more incendiary word than 'immigration.' as a new member this puts me in a difficult situation, so would like to apologies to anyone offended.

I wouldn't worry to much, it was unintentional, referring to plants and not aimed at a paticular person or group.

@GreenFingeredPete, I think before long AI will be changing all sorts of things we type, thinking it knows best. It won’t be content underlining bits of grammar or punctuation it hasn’t been trained to accept. We may be in the last throes of freedom of expression. :)

I’m sure no one was upset by immigration popping up unexpectedly, just puzzled given the context.

Immigration, immigration, immigration, yes it is a word that gets through the cancel culture for now.

Greetings to everyone! Yesterday the sun came out after a whole week of rain️, and with it the first tulip opened. We were expecting a more muted tone, but it's exciting all the same :yay:. Now waiting for its companions to open ⏳

No rain here for a while. It must have all fallen on you before it got up north to us.

This thread is cracking me up :-) Of all the tender and exotic plants that I'd love to be able to grow I must admit that tulips don't feature heavily. I know, I know...the grass is always greener.....;-) When do your climbing plants start flowering PzaMayor3?

Oh, @noisette47, my English isn't very good, and I get a bit lost with the expressions and double meanings...

It's my first time with bulbs, tulips are something very exotic around here!! so I'm excited that they're growing well...

In April the pink bougainvillea blooms, in May the orange one, in June the honeysuckles, in July the jasmines start and the bignonia already in October.

Don’t worry about, nothing can be worse than my mistype a few posts earlier. I am still moribund!!!

But striking tulips speak every language. I am not one bit envious.

Oups, sorry PzaMayor3! To translate...this thread is making me laugh because it highlights how we all want to grow things that are a challenge, wherever we live :-) Tulips grow easily here so it was a surprise to discover that you have to go to so much trouble with them. My Bougainvilleas in pots spend the winter in a temporary shelter against the house wall along with all the other tender plants and citrus trees. It will be at least May or June before they re-grow their leaves. I'm sooo looking forward to seeing photos of your balcony through the year!
