Some are behind, others are ahead.

    These are March daffodils.

I bought this Geranium 'Johnsons Blue' last year and I'm glad to see new grow.

The Deutzia shows first leaves. This is the one I replanted 3 times in one year, but it has its final position since September 2022 and it's grateful.

The tree fern opposite has survived so far.

The Geum 'Totally Tangerine' had flowered through the winter apart from the frosty days. What a lovely plant.

Can't wait to see the Spirea in leaves. I bought it last year.

My neighbour's Cherry tree should be in full bloom this year in April.
Since moving to our flat, I noticed that it changes year by year (March, April, March, April ,,,)

The Bluebells are very early. They will be white most of the time.

I'm in particular exited seeing the new leaf and buds on the Perovskia 'Blue Spirit' which I had bought last year. I found a video on YT how to cut them back, but will do this in April when the new grow is visible.

Love the geometric patterns of your camellia, @CarolineL May I ask if it is flowering at its usual time or is it later or earlier in your garden?

Hi @ClematisDbee it's about the same time, though another camellia in a pot was far earlier than normal. This one always worries me that the buds will break too early and get frosted, but it seems to be ok most years. Yes I love the formal shape too ( though I also like the blowsy ones!)
          Here's the whole bush:

I must admit I prefer that kind of Camellia to those over large floppy ones or the singles.
