Hi Aaron. Having looked back through the thread, it's surprising how things have grown. If I have time before I go away (monday) I'll post some more pics.

    Cheers...freddy.

Hi Freddy. your garden looks really lovely. It has a lot of interest in the different "sections" and as Strawman says it looks inviting. Beautiful :gnthb:
I love seeing pics of others gardens!

How long is your garden Freddy? I counted 10 of those 6 foot fence panels, so that makes it at least 60 foot. Are they painted with the Cuprinol Garden Shades? We've done a few of ours on the patio in a blue (can't remember the exact shade though). The ones further up I can't reach due to so many plants in front of them!

Hi Aaron. My garden is around 200ft long. Sounds a lot, but I really could do with more space, given the fact that it's only 15ft wide. I don't know what the fence is painted with, the fellow next door did it before I moved in. The pergola though was painted using Cuprinol Garden Shades, good stuff !

      Cheers...freddy.

So, is your garden finished now lol..

Lucky you Freddy, our garden is the same width but much smaller length and we have the chickens taking up the bottom quarter). Just been out for a smoke and counted the fence panels and we only have 50 long :(

That's why I keep reducing the lawn space - less to mow too! Got it down to a 9 x 8 foot space now!

I don't think I know anyone else who has a garden as long as yours, but I tell you what, it's going to looks the bees knees in four to five years when all of those wonderful plants have put on some height. You'll certainly be the envy of your neighbourhood, Freddy. Thanks for sharing all the photos. Superb!!!

Hi again. Dee, that's a Passion plant growing on the fence. The idea is to train it up and down to (hopefully) maximise flowering. As to the Ensete, I'll probably end up leaving it where it is, giving it some protection as best I can, but I know there's a strong chance of me losing it, fingers crossed for a mild winter. Garden finished ? Yeah, sure it is, for this week :)

      Cheers...freddy.

Hi Freddy, love your garden, especially the way the path meanders around the different areas.. something new to discover around every bend.

Brilliant - Freddy - I somehow seem to have missed this thread.

You have done a wonderful job, and it will just keep getting better with time as it matures more.

      Freddie,

That is an exciting, active garden.

      Very, very impressive.

Freddy, I missed this thread entirely, [what on earth was I doing?], and so had to start at the beginning and read all the way through to get an idea of what you've been doing......and then read it again because I was staggered by the effort and transformation you and Mrs F have achieved.
I think it has to rate of being one of the best transformations of a garden that has been posted on GC. The planting, the style of whole garden is absolutely fantastic and it's a garden after my own heart!! Despite the pictures I think it's hard to imagine the effort, ideas and sheer brilliant gardening that you both have done. Saying "Well Done" doesn't seem to acknowledge just what a great garden you have made,:snork:, but you know what I mean!!
