poisonous berries?

    Hi everyone, not posted here before, if anyone can help me identify this plant it would be much appreciated. I know you shouldn't eat unidentified berries, but curiosity got the better of me and I had a little taste (don't worry, I didn't swallow :p). Tasted a bit like pomegranates...

    Lonicera berries. Common name honeysuckle.

    Thanks guys! Shame I can't eat them, there's tons of them growing in my garden.

    Yes..honeysuckle berriers. I have many on my plant. very pretty colour too.

    The blackbirds in my garden must be immune to the poison, unless they sit there nursing tummy aches every night!
