    The wildflower meadow is just beginning to start in earnest. Another couple of weeks should see this sort of view right across the meadow

    I've got a lawn full of weeds and the largest slugs you have ever seen.

    If it was up to me, that's how I would let our lawn grow :), but Mr K always wants an English lawn. :(

    Now that's beautiful. Am I right to assume you seeded it? I've never tried to grow a wild flower meadow myself but I suspect it's more difficult to achieve than it looks because it looks so completly, er, well, "natural".

    Is that the case?

    Yip ... if it develops to a suitable degree. Loads of buds now, but still to flower. No point taking a pic of grass :)
    Laurie ... Crocosmia is much more 'gardiny' if harder to spell :)
