    If you look closely there are a few that telescope. He once nairly killed himself doing a stairwell, it may be on youtube somwere.

    yeah seen that he did a concrete one once that fell down a day early ! it couldnt take haveing a hole cut in it

    One of my heroes a great character, that got me all those ropes dangling on the ladder as he went up, whether he did it for tv or not as Carl said he had balls.

    Not just the trade it seems had issues, his statue was recently vandalised. Shame on whoever did it.

    His house is back up for auction as well. It was taken out because of a boundary dispute, but it`s back on now. Mind I would tie a very large yoke round your neck when viewing the garden-there is a mine in it!

    i disagree if it had been a statue of anyone someone would have broken it :mad:

    house didnt sell not even at 130k but nothing else sold either :eek:

    I know what you mean, you just can`t have anything in this town, but I`m sure it will be the same anywhere.

    Nothing is selling these days, there are a very few exceptions but investors now can make a killing if they can self-finance for three years, and not many can.

    My old house had a good view of a huge chimney at the hospital. I remember watching, fascinated as a man climbed up it. Must have been only half as big as that one but still couldn't believe it!
