    Awww thanks :o
It was absolutely brilliant! I loved it.
The students were really good and once I got over the initial nerves I really enjoyed it.
Once they had all left the room I must admit I did punch the air.....not sure whether it was because I had enjoyed it or because it was over :yho::yho::yho:

From someone who's been through the horror of unemployment, good on you both!

I've done some lecturing, Ali. Sounds very familiar - nervous energy to start, tremendously enjoyable when you get into it.

The worst is when you get a question you can't answer - and it will happen at some point, I'm sorry to say. You can either try to blag it, or admit you don't know. Either way, you lose!

Glad it all went so well for both of you.
The first day in any new post can be absolutely nerve wracking. I remember that awful feeling
It's all upwards and onwards now. Enjoy :gnthb:

Hey Alice, have you always been a moderator? Or did you get the gig when it was advertised recently?

Thanks all :D I haven't actually been unemployed, thankfully. I have been a laboratory technician at the college for many years but have now got a change of role for 3 hours a week. So it probably wont change the amount I come on here, as I menege to get on regularly at work anyway :yez::cool:

Hi AndrewH. It's a whole new gig for me - just responded to the ad.
But talking of gigs - I did play with a band - in another world :old:

Glad to hear it went well. A friend once told me about his first lesson. He got really into it and wrote tons of stuff on the whiteboard. Unfortunately he used an indelible pen. :hehe:
