    On the face it reads..
FOUR GENERATIONS OF THE BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY....DATED 1897.
    On the reverse..
TO COMMEMORATE THE 60 YEAR OF HER MAJESTY'S REIGN...DATED 1837.1897.

I don't even know who the other faces on the medalion are either:rolleyes:

    Hi Paladin.

That's a nice find! There's one on eBay, item number 200217215432.

I'd also advise against cleaning it other than removing any surface dirt. An old coin should always look old in my humble opinion.

Whatever you do don't use Cillit Bang as it'll destroy the copper.

    Ant.

Don`t clean it Carl. Anything that you use is bound to be corrosive. Best bet is give it a rub with a duster so it doesn`t rub off, put a chain through it and keep it for yourself.

Things aren`t found-they are put in your path. Not trying to be spooky, but there are more things in heaven and earth.....................
