    :help:Hi everyone,

I am successfully growing broccoli, kale, sprouts and cabbages, they have been covered up with a special netting to keep out the cabbage white but can they now be uncovered? as some of them, the sprouts especially are straining at the very top of the structure! and I don't think the cabbage white are still around.

    Any ideas please?

I would release the strain on your netting Stingo but still keep it on.

I'm still keeping my netting on because of the pigeons. I'd guess that the cabbage white season is over, not seen any for a couple of weeks but wouldn't like to take a chance as there could be an Indian Summer and they might come back in force.

Keep the netting on just release it a bit to stop the brassicas straining. The Pieridae will be around until Late October and will still lay eggs

If the leaves are touching the net the butterflies can lay their eggs still on your plants, raise the net above the plants.
