Hello Pamela and welcome to GC.

That is a Gazania. They come in various colours and make the most wonderful show.

    Hi Pamela and welcome.

It is a perennial from South Africa, which means that it can live for several years in the right climate. But it isn't hardy so it will die from the cold during a British winter. You can either collect seed and sow it in the spring, or dig it up and overwinter it somewhere frost free - or do both.

Hello Pamela and welcome to GC.

Yes, I agree with Sis (Kedi-Gato) and PeterS that they are Gazania and seed themselves readily here ... in saying so, I can't keep one for love nor money for even a season ... :dh: In saying that, I have an uncommon hybrid one that I've had for two years in a pot now .... so perhaps ....

Enjoy your flowers and the forum.
