Does anyone have any good ways of getting weeds out of a brick weaved driveway.
I've tried scraping them out and using diluted Jeyes fluid and, apart from smelling atrocious for a few days, it didn't deter the blighters reappearing within a few days.

What about one of those flame thrower things? Quite fancy trying one myself. I use roundup and I've got a poky tool thing that fits between my slabs. I've no idea what its called but its good

Paraquate (spelling?) will kill most weeds, but I have always used Pathclear to good effect.

Spray weeds with roundup, leave 2 weeks then pressure wash. Ree sand afterwards (once dry) by brushing in kiln dried sand.

The weeds are growing in the detritus that builds up and this needs removing. Spraying alone is a waste of time and expensive.

Paraquat is only sold comercially now. Due to its toxidity it needs a signed poisons form to buy it. Unnplesant stuff to use and best avoided. I dont rate it.

Paraquat is a burn off weedkiller anyway and will not kill dandelions or other tap root weeds.

Do it the hard way. Remove the rubbish in between each brick by hand...then get the drive sealed....otherwise you will be doing it year after year after year after year.............:thumb:

As pro said "brush in kiln dried sand". Before sealing.
