    Hiya all!

I am new on here (1st post), i was referfed here by my mum.

Just want to give some background to me; I'm 22, I live in a village in yorkshire and have a semi-detached with gardens to 3 sides, not big but it is big enough for a beginner like myself!

Short tem goal - Tidy the place up, i have planted a lot of seeds/bulbs which i have grown from scratch and are doing great but also bought various plants from garden centres.
Long tem goal - Turn the Side strip of land (approx 2m x 4.5 m) into a small veggie patch!

I have not been here that long and this is what has prompted my 1st post as i do not know what several of the plants are that are in my garden, many of them need attention but with not knowing what to do i am scared of doing them more harm.

If you caould help me get established on here and alos in my garden it would be much appreciated!

Please see this link to see photos of my unidentifed plants... thanx.

Once the escalonia has finishe flowering, you can be quite brutal pruning it if needs be, its very fast growing.
