So who is she? She says her name is Jess and her guitar is called Maryanne and she likes writing funny little songs in Australia. Oh! The innocence of youth

 

She isn`t famous through the more popular means-telly, radio or anything but she is a bit of a star on youtube-which these days means she is on the threshold. There is an upside to having a teenager in the house-I am "with it" again.

The first time I heard this song I was singing it to myself for days.

 

I can just picture my self dozing off in front of an open fire in an old fashioned pub with a pint of real ale in front of me as I listen to this lass sing.

Not my usual choice of music but it is nice to just chill and take it back to basics once in a while. One person with a good voice, a simple song and an acoustic guitar.
