looks very much like the plant from a fungreek seed.

there again, I'm no expert and I don't know if birds like the taste of fungreek....mine are used to eating chapatties and will favour that over a slice of bread any time and will eat rice too but I don't give them anything else. I don't want to train my birdies to start eating 'foreign':D:D stuff.

Hi Init, it does look very much like Methi leaf :thumb:. Although when I used to grow it I seem to remember that the body of the leaf wasn't quite so smooth. It used to have slight horizontal wrinkles to it but that may have been from the soil conditions.

Hi, Would a little gentle rub of the leaves and a smell not help with this? I got some mad looking chervil type thing dropped by a bird once-I say thing because it smelled a bit like it but didn`t look like it. I don`t know if it tasted like it-my hubby got it in a herb dumpling-still alive so ....(no only joking-it was a chervil but didn`t look like one until later)

No idea what it is - I love surprises thoough, and would let it grow and see what happens! The stuff that I get growing from my birdseed varies - flax flowers are very pretty, and the barley etc is no bother to pull out - yet to have anything invasive.

It looks familar but can't place it, it could just be a pea or sweet pea! Or maybe its a wildflower, it looks a bit like a vetch (which grow in hedgerows around us), it'll be interesting to see what the flowers are like.
