Hi all :D I am venturing into veg growing and fancy some tumbling tomatoes in my hanging baskets. Being a little bit of a novice in this area can anyoe recommend a variety and give some tips? Thankyou all who know, from one wh doesn't :D
Oooo Dee thems look great, can just see them either side of the door, what variety are they hun and can i plant now? I suppose its too late is it:D
Hey Cutie and Funny Face ..... I have some special tumbling cherry tomatoes from Madeira which my friend brought back .... they are delicious and you guys will be getting some..... xx They live all year round here but think you'll have to keep a tom or tom for following years .......
LoL i bet yours taste Lovely, All year round eh, your so lucky.. Bobj , ive got that gel stuff in, so i water just once a day, ive 2 Baskets, Oooooo, I fancy growing Strawberries in hanging baskets next year...Have you tried them?.. And A.G its too late now.
LOL i await them with baited breath :D Dee I noticed that you have a marigold in there, thats a good one isn't it supposed to keep the fly away Dee, i fancy growing allsorts from baskets, lettuce, spring onions, toms, cue's he he my friends know i am funny but wouldnt it give the neighbours something to talk about :D
Funny Face .... don't think you can grow licorice in hanging baskets (if I could I would) .... but you ccn try ..... xxxx
AG, your still mad, Good Mad tho. The Flowers (theres more in there) were to make it look more interesting, i didn,t realise the Tom would get so big.. Bobj i had all intentions this year to grow the strawberries but left it to late :( I had this idea in my head, that if earwigs can,t fly they wont get me strawbs...Hahaha LoL Licorice is my favourite sweet, i wish i could grow it,
I am a certified nutter to my friends which include all of you :D Dee didnt you know? Marigolds are supposed to keep green fly at bay so you have stumbled on a fantastic move there :D
