The glut continues !!

Anybody else having a glut of anything this "Summer" ?

I'm getting a bit sick of eating french beans,courgettes and cucumbers on a daily basis. :D

 

Hi Dan. As yet, no glut, although I think when the runners start.... BTW, those spuds look rather nice, what are they and how well did they crop ? Cheers...freddy.

I'm not having a glut but with me being on my own i'm glad i'm not.

The spuds were "Nicola"

I grew some earlier in the polytunnel and these are from outside,they are always a fantastic cropper even if they are a bit on the big size now.

I only grow "Cobra"

They are a climber though.

They do brilliantly inside as well as out.

I grow them up a 6 foot cane then train them horizontally about another 6ft on string so I get 'em about 12 foot long and the beans hang down like grapes on the horizontal bit and are dead easy to pick.

I must have had 20lbs off just 5 plants this year.

 

The only glut I have is rhubarb and green tomatoes

 

My glut is currently only courgettes and marrows (if I can't get to my lotty). I have been selling them at work in aid of the Guide Dogs for the Blind. So far made 12.50! Now everyone clambers to the coffee room when I arrive at work. How long will their enthusiasm last though?
Anyone have any recipies for courgettes?

Me too....the only glut I have is green tomatoes.

 

my only glut is strawberries and blueberries, but I do enjoy them!
