Everybody moves out the way when I go through Claire had numerous altercations with errant drivers had to snatch a few, not as aggresive as I used to be calmed down a bit now, agree it's one hell hole to drive through I have to pedal through it everyday to get to the nice countryside

Stingo is the nickname of a male character in the book "Sophies Choice"
It's a very sad book but the name appealed to me even though I am female...

One of my favourite books, Stingo .... I didn't connect you with it, and a brilliant movie with Meryl Streep and Peter MacNicol, your namesake.

We've had this thread before but for newcomers ..... I am what I am .....

I think I have also explained my username

This was the first forum I became a member of and I was a a real newbie
didn't realise a username was needed so off the top of my head I thought
'Geordie' as my favourite entertainer is a Geordie (Alan Price would you believe :D )
but then I thought I wouldn't use that name as I am not so I changed the spelling
to 'jordie' and added the extra j in front.
    Simple really [IMG]

    a bit convoluted really........:D
Himself came up with my username some years ago now.
In his line fo work he comes across people from all walks of life and he has a pretty good rapport with the young Asian boys on his patch and one of the things they do all seem to say as part of their conversation is .... "In'it mate":thumb:
    and..........there is more ............

I used to be in the Specials many years ago and was based in Peckham and often got asked by my "clients" ............."Sista.....what you doing with them lot"
(meaning...what the heck did I think I was doing joining the Police Force !! )

Himself put the name together and came up with Init Sister and I use that as my internet name on all forums that I belong to.

told you it was a bit convoluted.
