My goodness Elaine your plot is looking smashing and it's really nice to know that you grow flowers too as that is what we have in mind. I was going to give away some spray carnations that just don't look right in our home gardens but I'll take them over to the lottie instead now! What a meanie I am. Hel.xxx.

I planted the carnations last yr. after starting from seeds,(which i`m still buzzing about).I honestly thought they are those plants where you get the flowers the second yr and then they die. Will i get them next yr? I hope so.
Today i had a mosey over the garden, really just to get out of the house. It was raining and i forgot the key to the shed where i keep my tools, so i had to use a spade that had been left in the gh to get some spuds.By then i was wet so i thought i may as well pick a few peas and spyed an onion that had gone over.I ended up with 4 carrier bags....

and this is my jungle flower patch. Can`t remember what the plant at the front is though.I had it in my mind to make it all oranges with the mimulus and rudbeckia but then i couldn`t resist the delphinium for a pound. So then thought oh well just fill it.The label said ocean something and then a chap the other day says,Oh, i see you`ve got a pink delphinium Elaine.
Anyway here it is, nettles and all...
