    It looks like Phyllostachys aurea, to me,Nut.:thumb:

    Bought it on Tuesday at a local fruit and veg shop for 25.00. How and when do I repot it anyone? When I say how I mean what goes in the pot just regular compost?

    I would use a 50 50 mix of multi purpose compost and John Innes no3.:thumb:
