Oooooh ... A car booting thread.

    Good find Hel! :D

I've never bought any gardening hardware from car boots but do buy a lot of plants from them. My latest is Crocosmia Lucifer ...

My neighbour has a wonderful display of these and i've always liked them. I bought 3 pots containing 4 plants for £1 each. I also bought another 3 pots of orange flowering Crocosmia. (not sure of the cultivar) I also got a Lysimachia Punctata that i've been wanting for ages for £1.50.

I'll not bore you all with my latest Lego and Playmobil finds. :D

    Ant.

I was lucky that I recognised what it was and the seller had no idea. Keep looking for another one but can't seem to find one (at that price) - I wonder why!

Love the crocosmia Lucifer Ant I will have to keep my eyes open for some of them as I'm sure they will look stunning among the jungly plants as my more common orange crocosmia does so fit in well and the Lucifer are much bigger than the orange types aren't they?

Clematis I must admit defeat 10p is an amazing bargain I'm afraid I never admit to the seller what an item may be before I've handed over the cash and done the deal otherwise the price might go up but I will always pay a little bit more than the asking price if it's a child who is doing the selling....aren't I sweet? :D Hel.xxx.
