I'm a lady of simple taste so my dream car would have to be a classic Mini Cooper. As a mini was my first ever car it has always had a place in my heart and we have had a great many over the years although never a Cooper (sadly) and nor a Clubman because the Clubman was too ugly in my eyes as it didn't quite have the right 'face' you know head lights (eyes) and grill (mouth) like the true mini although it did have a bigger engine like the Cooper!

It broke my heart when I had to trade in my little silver and black checkered mini for a bigger car so my 6ft son could learn to drive in although come to think about it that might have been a blessing in disguise as on the old mini's you had to press your foot down a very long way before the brakes would bite! Hel.xxx.

Joyce had a mini for a year or so, with the state of the roads round here we found it could have been an advantage to have a resident back specialist, the suspension was almost non existent.

When my father was alive we always had Fords, he was stores manager at the local Ford main dealers so we obviously got advantageous service and prices. I started with one of the "sit up and beg" Ford 8's moved on to the 100E, then Consuls, Zephyrs, Anglia, Cortinas, Classic and Capri, since then have had Opel, Citroen BX diesel, Escorts, Fiesta, Peugeot 205 XD, Nissan Micra, (not impressed) then fianlly Mazdas, a 323, a Demio and a Mazda2. The Demio will be sold in the next couple of weeks.

    Bob.

Good choice. The Integrale was my dream car growing up and still is.

At 37 I'm due for a midlife crisis and getting one should help me through it. :D
