i'm not great on the pc so i'm not sure if this is going to appear on the forum, but here goes.
i've had a lupin for two years now and this year it has plenty of green but no flower cone, last year it had two. i've managed to take a hard cutting and grow this on, but again no flower cone. both lupins live in tubs and have weekly feeds plus nightly watering. They receive sunlight from early afternoon to late evening. It was a beauty when flowering last year and i'd really like some input with the problem

Hi netty, don`t know about the lupin situ but your post is on okay. It might be the feeding, I overfeed my garden and it is gorgeous-but extremely green and not very floriferous (oooooohhh posh word they don`t come often).

    And welcome to the forum

nonsense, I am atrocious with a computer and a bit hit and miss in the garden too. I can shift tons of soil and all the heavy hard work but fiddling around tying up my roses and other intricate jobs is where I go wrong, I bet you are better than you think. Just jump in and you will be fine LOL

Well i finally managed to get the plastic greenhouse erected, with some minor confusion as to length of poles and where they should be placed. I prefer the pretty flowering part of gardening rather than hard work, but I can spend a long time out there even though it's a small courtyard with plenty of pots.

It sounds like you have acheived a milestone already, I couldn`t even set my patio table up properly, but I warn you the time you spend out there will get longer and longer and longer even when you swear you are only going out for an hour.

Thankyou for the welcome. Yes i cannot deny i live on the beautiful isle of wight and refer to it as "my island". Best at this point to recall the scene from Braveheart with the very slightly mad Irish man talking about Ireland. Me and my brood of men (sons) have dwealt here for 3 years

Not good, dim and wet all day, just about drying off enough for me to go out and have a potter around. And as I tend to end up digging things and lifting it will be tshirt weather eventually I suppose. It always dries up after teatime here really. But sssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh if it hears me saying this it will start again
