I was a site rep once and one woman had five ten rod plots. she paid up every year and did a bit in the middle of each plot but as she moved form plot to plot it filled with weeds we could not get her off cos she paid up annually but did little else.

What wud you do if u were in charge?

Down here, at least 2 thirds of each plot HAS to be cultivated. That is, dug and planted. If not then you get 2 warning letters, third one and you are off.:gnthb:

Chick her off. If people can't manage their plots then they have to go, there's big waiting lists at most sites nowadays.

she would deffo get chucked off at my plots - i do the lottie inspections and send out the letters!!! she would have a three month notice served then one week to remove her belongings

my best friend is my camera!!! so i can prove whats been done (or not)

we do also try and support people who want to keep a plot but are struggling but the bottom line is ...... it the plot causing problems to their neighbour? weed seeds creeping weeds overgrown brambles etc

To keep 5 weedy plots is greedy and selfish, maybe it would wake her up if 4 plots were taken away, maybe she could manage 1.

I'd have started by kicking the manager or management out of a job. Then re write the plot agreements/contracts to eliminate things like this from happening.
