I cant get me money !

Last thursday i cut a lawn for someone they have me regularly but sadly thats once a year! anyway they wernt home for some reason so i trusted them but now cant get me money they dont answere there phone or door what would you do ?

Small claims court-you can do it online now. Google your local magistrate court and they should have a link.

Course they might be on holiday.

Cutting a lawn once a year, I have to do mine once a week.

 

£25 quid and they rang me an aranged it about 10 days b4 i went ...

 

after a year he would have had to use NAPALM to clear it no wonder he wants payin thats expensive stuff ..lol

 

Trust your instinct, there will prob be a good reason and I bet you'll get your money in the end. If you don't, put it down to experience and forget it - annoying though it is

 

This happened to me once before took me 18 months but i got the money in the end:D
ill keep trying the thing was i went round today as i was passing an the window was open but its an upstairs flat so i couldnt look in the window lol

Pop a letter threatening court and see what they do-legally you have to give them 28 days to pay before you mount legal action, but cash is cash. Chalking it up to experience is one thing, but chalk costs money and if you use a lot of it well...........

I'm not surprised. The trouble is, the only way you get any money is with your own hard work-no one employs you and pays you whether you do a job or not. Its hard work running your own biz, I know, but sometimes people treat you like its a blinking hobby-that or they think you are loaded and can afford to go without payment.

Its a dog eat dog world out there.

 

No point in worrying about the money. But a sprinkling of Sodium Chlorate crystals on their front lawn spelling what they are (don't like to spell it out on this site) will tell the world. I've actually done this, great fun. The grass just dies and no-one knows who has done it.

Well id do that but for the fact it looks dead as it is lol as you can imagine after a year its not recovering well from a 4 foot haircut :rolleyes: ill keep trying though and tell all there neighbours i go to they dont pay up lol

And nut your about 160 miles away so ita a bit to far to travel at this time of year
