What I can't understand is how it has gone on so long.

With such people a far more persistant attitude towards the authorities is required. They'll drag their feet for as long as possible as it costs money to get something done.

Thankfully the media coverage should get those responsible off their backsides.

Idiot possibly, but perhaps also a tad 'touched in the head'? Or maybe just really, really keen on his privacy. He might be better off living on a small island in The Outer Hebrides. On his own!

It's a potential inferno waiting to happen. I wonder if anyone's fire insurance has been nullified. He's only got to leave a candle burning on his windowsill and it could be goodnight sweetheart.

I pity his neighbours. If the idiot wants total seclusion why live in a semi in an urban area - :cnfs:

x Cupressocyparis leylandii needs to be classified as a notifiable weed.

    It's truly horrible stuff.

If I was in that neighbourhood I'd just chuck a bucket of glyphosate over the thing in the dead of night.

Apparently the owner of the offending trees can't see what the problem is and thinks he is the victim of a 'vendetta'. It isn't looking good ...

That last picture is incredible. Why would anyone want a monster like that in their garden. A bit of a problem in his head, methinks...

    Cant see the problem myself.

He has kept them nicely trimmed along the pavement.

Its just that the top seems to have got slightly out of hand.

He is probably concerned about the environment and thinks the oxygen output benefits the neighbours.:)

Thats the kind thinking we need Clive, you cant just condemn the bloke just because he likes a bit of greenery in his garden and is not fussy about having a lawn.
