It looks nice but I don't know what it is.

    This plant is in my neighbours garden. I'm liking the star shaped yellow flowers. Would someone tell me what it is?

    Knowing me it'll be a weed.

    It looks Like a weed to me! im probably wrong tho...Wheres David or Pete...

    It´s lysimachia punctata. I think it is called loosestrife in english or something like that. It grows a lot here, in gardens and vicinity. I think it´s nice, have a clump in my own garden.

    I think it's a plant cause I think my mums got some in her garden but I'm darned if I know what it is:confused:

    It is a bit invasive - but I have just uprooted a clump, and it's not hard to reduce- - the roots are shallow.

    It is lysimachia punctata, or loostrife as mentioned above.

    Ivory and JarBax are right. I have it in the garden too, and it does make a lovely show. It makes a nice filling in bouquets as well.

    We used to have some in our last garden and it provides some lovely colour and it's easy to control it's spread as well :thumb:
