I was writing about cats at some length together with The Nut, some days ago. Moving the discussion to the right place now.
Let me introduce my beloved clowns: Muffin:

    And Jonesey:

i really need to upload more pics of the kitties.

These are two sisters, even if they look (and behave) completely different. It was a litter of five kittens, each one different.
They are incredibly sweet and social, really a part of the family, not at all "come home for eating and then off again".

Nut, I mentioned my parents´norwegian cats, this is Assia (the pics are from the breeder site):
    http://www.norvegesiaretusa.it/Assia.htm
And this is Breigitte (also in the breeders´website, but most pics are by my parents, and you can also see their big tom Pancho... that I call Gollum).
    http://www.norvegesiaretusa.it/cucciolataB/brigitte/brigitte.html

Assia was adopted only a few days ago. The breeders have had a puppy of their own which resulted heavily allergic to animals´fur, so they had to give away all their cats.

Aaahh how lovely are they! I had to laugh at the picture of your parents cat Assia, I though our cat, Mini Me - 3rd along below, was the only one to sit on a chair like a person!

    No pic Nut! :(

I have not met Assia yet, living some 1000 km away from my family now... I guess I will see her for Xmas. From the pics she certainly looks gorgeous, and yes the pick in the red chair is too funny.

Talking of funny human beahaviours in cats, one of the best ever from mine was when they were sitting prim and upright on the edge of the table, and licking up their medicine from a spoon.

The Nut - start your own thread now you know how, your cats are lovely.

Ivory - what smashers all those cats are, such unusual colouring & so fluffy. What a shame about the breeders having to give up their cats. Muffin & Jonesy are lovely. Not knowing much about cats I wouldn't have guessed that they are sisters.

Your parents cats are gorgeous too.

Love your little comments on them all. Can't understand Italian but I did get the ages of them:)

    cheers

Thanks you all. I will report the comments to the pookies! ;)

Nut they are so gorgeous, very "aware" looks on their faces. I really love maine coons, and these have a lovely colour, a bit like a wild cat. And the little tip of hair on the ears!

I love the pics, Muffin looks like a cat I had 10 years ago, we called her Cuddles, she was very good, and lived to see 16 years.

    Sorry Ivory
I have just read Borrowers comments, I didnt realise that one shouldnt mix threads. I am not sure of the protocol in here yet. Anyway I just wanted to show you my moggies as I had asked you for pics of yours.
    Sorry once again

I have no problem at all sharing a thread!! The kitties seem to get along fine here!! :) I don´t think you committed any major protocol breach, so no need to apologize, at all.
