As you said that she has asked Planning to come and look I'd check with them first if I were you. :)

I'm in awe that they could actually put that up so close to the boundary wall! I'd have a small fit if my neighbour did that!

Because we live in an exCouncil with council neighbours, nobody actually owned our boundaries (checked with Planning and our deeds) So when we put our fences up, we played on the safe side - what's a few inches between neighbours? But now my neighbour is complaining that we lost a foot of garden! (don't think he can see that if we went an extra foot, it would be over his toilet room window LOL

Hope you can get something sorted for your customer! I'd consider painting something nice on that gray wall!

It's great to see someone cares! :thumb:

Hope you don't mind Spud - I've been away for a while and off GC since June 08 - wondered if there was any update on how your customer has faired with her problem. Funnily enough we have new neighbours and they have just put up a horrible cheap version of a 'conservatory' - there is a gutter/pipe which just drains down onto the ground, and has not been routed to the drain which the moron could have done. We wait with baited breath and hopefully it will affect them before it affects us. This is one of those 'no planning permission required' extensions!! Needless to say we have not attended their housewarming/apres Christmas parties just incase we need to complain!! Tee hee!
