How to discourage pigeons..?

Lol, have to think of an elderly lady in London explaining the world to a young italian guest (a friend of mine), recommending not to leave crumbles on the window sill because there were pigeons around "they are huuuge birds, they sit on the roof, and the roof collapses!". :D

 

What do you call a young Italian who sits on a window sill:confused:

 

The problems of city living are very different to those in the country. We are enjoying pigeon breasts frequently here. Talking to your neighbour might help.

I sympathise with you, pigeons are a nuisance in my garden too, although not as bad as the seagulls, a splat from them is something else!! :eek: They have no manners!! :rolleyes:

You could try a plastic Owl or bird of prey you know like ponds sometimes have a plastic Heron near them to keep other birds away or maybe one of those brightly coloured garden twirlers I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but they might just work.Hel.xxx.
