I am lucky enough to have a small river passing through my garden. submersible pumps are useless for garden watering as they have no pressure. Has anyone out there used the Karcher Garden Irrigation Pump. I would be interested in any comments.

Hi Maltaron I haven't used that particular pump but the spec looks good it has a good suction height so should do the job and Karcher have a good reputation.

    If you are still around....

Did you get the pump and was it successful? I have a similar requirement, hence the interest.

    I just noticed this thread.
A word of warning, you will need an abstraction licence to take water from a river. Probably from the Environment Agency (or they can tell you who to apply to).
