I just wanted to share my maple with you.
i got given it by my grandparents as this tiny tiny tiny tiny shoot that grew into this small lovely maple.
She said it would grow with my, my grandmother said that. and it has!
it is in a small pot, but soon will be re-potted into a huge pot i got!

    Here it is!

    They are lovely plants
Don't plant it into TOO large a pot all at once Tay ... the reason being that, if you do, the roots won't be able to use up all of the moisture in the surrounding soil that they have not yet reached, and there is a serious danger of over watering as a result
Health to continue to enjoy :)

Very nice example Tay - stunning in fact. I've had my eye on one for quite a while actually, but I'm having difficulty locating any seeds. :(

by the way i ment i purchased a pot slightly larger, but not too large sorry.

Also, my grandfather recently purchased an AMAZING small coral bark japanese maple from tescos for £5, and he planted it straightinto the garden and has grew wonderfully ever since.
