    Hello All,

I wonder if you can help me.

I bought five calla lily bulbs and planted them in pots just over a month ago. They are now all growing, especially one which is going MAD! :thumb:

Im worried that I have put them in overly small pots - most have roots trailing out the drain holes in the bottom. Can I repot them without disrupting them? How big should the pots be?

Also, I have read that it is possible to have them flowering year round - can I? How do I try to achieve this?

    Thanks in advance :)

Beautiful. I have a few colours - yellow, black, orange and pink I think - I have no idea which is which now though. Any hints on growing them?

I have had some Zantedeschia (should be the plant you mean if it comes in so many colours) for several years now. Idon't try to have them blooming all the time though. They are in 30 cm pots, and I have divided them, they increase a lot, and the tubers grow huge. I have them outside in summer (april-october), and keep the tubers in the cellar or garage (cold but frost free), still in the pots but dry, through the winter months. In march I bring them up,repot in fresh ground and grow them on in a sheltered place before putting them out. They seem to like this routine. Sometimes when repotting you may find that part of the tuber has grown all soft and mushy (one must water carefully when they are only showing small tips but not growing much). When that happened (twice) I scooped out all the mushy part and sprinkled some powder of copper fungicide on the "wound". I never lost one so far. In full growth they like a lot of water, but don't drown them.
