Hello just joined. Have been gardening for a while but no expert! Have a 'new' old garden that was overgrown and full of unkempt shrubs and huge trees too big for garden and threatening house. So had to take most of it out and start from scratch this spring. Small london garden unlike lots of the lovely ruralish ones I've seen on here! Most of the planting is new so hopefully in a year or two it will look decentish. My one big mistake was planting Crocosmia which are already 3 feet tall already and in the wrong place LOL

    cheers

[IMG] Biker and Jess of course welcome to the forum, I'm sure both of you will enjoy your time spent on here. I'll look forward in seeing some pictures of your plot Biker as I'm sure others will too as we are a right lot of nosy people on here and love nothing more to look at each others gardens no matter at what stages they are at and of course help each other out. Good luck. Hel.xxx.

    Hi Biker!

Small town gardens can be just as entrancing as the bigger rural ones - I love town courtyard gardens with lots of architectural foliage plants. What are your plans for your garden?

    Kath :)

    Hi and thanks all

I've posted a before and after photo on the Garden Projects thread. You can see what a complete mess it was and it's coming along very slowly!
