Not sure of all the names, if you can help then many thanks

Cluster flowered, opens to almost pure white, good scent, maybe "Penelope"?

Maidens blush, very old alba, nice scent

    I think it's Open Arms

Would you believe it's called "Perennial Blue", it does go to a sort of violet when full out

Ferdinand Pichard, by the front door and starting to block the light from the office window, very strong scent

The front wall and trellis - hopefully to deter kids from the local school runing along the wall and falling - I wish. From left Complicata, only just coming into flower, single pink, another old variety, Compassion, not blooming at the moment, the red and white ones unknown, in the background Golden showers, Pat Austin, an unknown orange/red small flowered climber and Ferdinand Pichard showing at the right.

(The blue car may be for sale in July)

Yeah, the rain last few days has damaged some of mine I've just been out and more than half filled a Tesco bag with dead heads. Out of about 40 plants, only three have not yet shown any colour, 3 are just showing colour and should be out full by Sunday, the rest have full blooms. Must be the global warming, (I have pics I took of 2 plants still blooming on Feb 16th, Iceberg and Calypso)

@ Walnut, I'd guess at Rhapsody in Blue for #3 and Calypso (AKA straw?berries and cream or Poulsclimb) for #4. Not so clued up on the orange and yellow ones at #1 & 2.

Thanks walnut for letting us know about the names. I once got a really nice bouquet of differently coloured roses from a friend who sells flowers in london and the first rose was part of it, but I never knew the name of it. It has a terriffic smell.

    Wonderful pictures dorsetmike!!! :thumb:
