what type of bean plant is this?

i havnt a clue how you post pictures on this site from my pictures so ill just have to describe it hehe

my daughter brought home what looked like a runner bean, it was black with dark pink specks on it, looked like what i had allready planted but it looks nothing like what ive got climbing up the canes, it has a thicker stalk with thick bushy like rounded leaves on :confused: any ideas?

 

The seed description sounds like a runner, but without a picture its going to be difficult.

It looks like a broad bean to me, also.
The seed description didn't sound right though.

I'm just wondering if its a red flowered broad bean.

 

i agree my description wasnt good lol

but the bean did look exactly like the bag of runner beans i planted, hence why i didnt have a clue what plant that is and to top it off, i cant stand broad beans hehe, oh well father inlaw can have them :D
