We don't have much choice here - Chinese or Indian - both 7 miles away but any take away is a favourite when we have it as a treat when all the kids (4) are back in the nest from uni or visiting and we all sit around the kitchen table and share the many choices:thumb:

Well we had an Indian last night (only have it now and again), and really do enjoy it. Also love fish and chips, but again, don't have it too often, as we try not to eat much fried food.

Another weakness is Pizza, I used to work as a Pizza delivery driver, and I really do enjoy a good Pizza. Pizza's we have quite often, if you get the right ones, they can really be part of a nutritional diet , ie Not the Pizza Hut ones that are very oily.

Fish and chips only rarely, and not local.
Indian is smelly and chinese is bits and pieces, and indian pizzas , you cannot be serious.

I think junk food is the right term for the whole lot.

Junk food is a bit strong for a genuine Indian or Pizza (has to be home made bases etc.) outlet, I really class MacDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut etc as junk food.

Chinese for me, chippy for the wife, she's alergic to onions and garlic so she doesn't chance chinese or indian unless I make it.
