    I saw one very simialr in Dobbies Garden Centre last week DB wehn I was across but a bit expensive as it was alarge plant .
    I did not study the name wish I had as i tdoes stand out.

    I so wish our local garden cetres woudl sell in smaller pots.The oen I sae was yellow on th etop very effective stood out as well as the price.

    Thanks for the replies. I know what you mean about big pots ScotKat. I'd much rather get it cheaper and nurture it myself.
    BigBaddad, I *think* all lavenders with the tufts are called butterfly? It was this limey green one I was really taken with though. I've found some more pictures of Tiara and I'm fairly sure that's what it is. Now to find somewhere to buy it...

    It`s a form of L. stoechas. Which is French Lavender.

    Totally agree with David its a variety of french lav............

    French lavender 'Tiara' (Lavandula stoechas 'Tiara')
