Oh, my heart goes out to you Jeni.

I truly hope there is a happy ending to this for you and Esme. It may be worth visiting your neighbours in person and politely asking if you can check their sheds and garages. If it was last Saturday, there is a good chance she may have snuck inside one as weekend gardeners may have had the sheds open and then closed up on the Sunday.

Obviously check all local vets and all local animal rescue centres.

Please let us know if she comes back home safe!

    Hugs

    Kath

If it's any consalation Jeni, my little cat (the one on the far right in the pictures below) went missing a couple of years ago, we put up posters and put leaflets through people's doors asking them to check sheds and garages. I was heartbroken.

She was missing for weeks, but whilst I was away on holiday she came home (luckily my daughter was here to welcome her!) she was as skinny as a rake and in a sorry state, we kept her in for a whilst and fed her back up. I guess we'll never know where she went but I hope your story has a happy ending too.

love and hugs to you, don't give up looking.x

Day 9 in the Big brother house & Still nothing :(
Posters have been put through 400 doors, we've scoured the neighbourhood every day/night/morning/evening/middle of night callign her name, shaking a tin of biccies, waving her fave toy around.
Posters are also up in Drs, pub, ASDA, social club, post office, chippy, curry house (where the pigs joked that they'd cooked her up )
I've called CPL, RSPCA, 17 vets........... and now, I sit and wait with a glass (er... bottle) of red wine.:thumb:
Thanks for all your kind words of support though. Through the tears I keep getting a glimmer of hope that she may return. We've had lots of calls but sadly none of them have been her......... yet.

Have you tried asking at the local schools? Most kids are quick to spot a new cat in the area and the head teacher may be willing to do an announcement at assembly and ask the kids to check sheds ect.

Hi Princess, just a thought, has she been spayed? The reason I ask is that she might have been chased by Toms and got her self lost. I had a cat called poppy and this happened to her. She managed to get out while in season and went missing for 3 days. I happened to notice loads of cat next door and when I went round and shooed all the cats away, i found her behind a bush. I picked her up and she was so relieved she almost collapsed in my arms. She slept on our bed for 24 hours solid the poor mite. She must have put up one hell of a fight because she wasn't pregnant!!. I'm praying you will get her back soon, dont give up hope, maybe someones taken a fancy to her and taken her in, if so the first chance she gets I'm sure she'll make her way home to you. Big hug. 02
