Hi Roz - ceanothus (spelling??) I am sure.

It looks really beautiful - I love the plant - but can't seem to get mine going - possibly need to re-site it. :)

Sorry Roz forgot to mention - love the lillies - and those lovely zinc? planters.

Have they got drain holes in them? I have three similar ones and planted some cannas in mine - look great but I had to drill some holes in the bottom of them. :)

It looks like a ceanothus to me too. I have a huge one at the end of our urban garden - too big but it blocks out the hideous view behind us. Although the blue flowers don't quite make up for the constant shedding all over the patio. I've taken some cuttings so it can come with us to the Isle of Wight but I'm not going to let it get as big as the people before us have.

I am very jealous of your lillies - I have 2 pots that are growing well but they haven't come to flower yet. They've had a hard time with baby snails and I've been keeping on top of the Lily Beetles this year. It looks like they've started to bud up so might be ready to create a bunch for my girlfriend when she gets back from her travels in 10 days.

Thanks so much, I like to know what's in the garden so I can find out about it!

The pots are from Argos Susannah, £39 for 3 (varying sizes). They have holes at the bottom already, I think they look alot more expensive.

Craig - how lovely to pick some for your g'friend, sure she'll love them! Best of luck :o)
