Can anyone tell me what this bug is .

    Can anyone tell me what they are please

    O my goodness.
    The lawns O.K at the moment.

    I just looked the chafer up , it is one of those.

    I removed the first one as it had activated the bottom scroll bar.

    I found a cockchafer beetle last night when I opened the back door to go out. Fascinating but very creepy. It was buzzing like mad and trying to fly inside. I didn't know we got bettles that big!

    The Boss Woman and I found one last night, looked like a cockroach it was huge sent it to the happy hunting ground via the wellie boot.

    It's got grabby things on it.

    I have never seen one before now they seem to be everywhere.:eek:

    I call these by the lay name - June Bugs - Although I guess this one is premature by a month!

    My cat brings them in regularly at the moment. They seem to facinate him.
