Hi, I would like to get some form of shrub or small tree for a large tub outside my front door. Something which is really winter hardy and can stand a bit of wind would be preferable, also must look good all year round. I know this is asking a lot and I would appreciate any advice on the subject, Thanks

Hi Carryduff if your tub is large enough you could have a Kilmarnock Willow...An Elaeagnus.. Just clip it twice a year... Euonymus can be lots of colour little care other than food & water.. Lavender.. Clip after flowering... Hope they help a bit will think a bit more.. :thmb:
