    Shelby, I am assuming those " white balls " were in the compost? If so, they are not some type of fungus but actually slow release fertiliser pellets.:thumb::D Usually they are mistaken for insect eggs.:D

    Maybe not palm scale but red spider mite?

    Well,

    The white balls where filled with water, So I doubt that it was some type of fertilizer, And they were not there when I got it.

    Back to the question,

    Where should I place it?

    In my bedroom I have a fairly wide/big west facing window, The window sill is full of my current plants, And in front of the window is my huge L Corner desk. Which leaves not much room for the palm in front of the window.

    But, I bet a pound to a pinch of s**t I`m right. I`ve been in this game to long to be wrong.:D
